Findings in brief
Consumption has shifted decisively to platform-native sources, but institutional trust has not followed: survey respondents report using social platforms most while trusting them least. Established broadcasters retain trust among older cohorts without retaining attention.
Minority-language provision is uneven. Where public broadcasters carry regular programming, community reliance on unverified sources drops measurably.
Recommendations
Sustained minority-language provision by public broadcasters, and media-literacy programming delivered through community institutions rather than schools alone, emerge as the two interventions with the clearest supporting evidence.
